She isn’t resilient, Kate: she’s remorseless. She’s a confirmed con artist. She intentionally fed the trolls, played victim, and reaped enough money for her to live comfortably for years. She doesn’t play games, she steals her footage and copy from others, and she doesn’t give a fuck. She weathers the terrible, awful onslaught of internet trolls because her psychopathology probably doesn’t include an obsessive need for outside validation like yours; the dollas are all the validation she wants or needs, and the trolls help convince rubes like you that she’s genuine, yielding more dollas. You are enabling a scammer, and why?
Because you’re either lazy-minded or stupid? When in doubt, the rational decision is to not take a side. If it’s that important to you, then do research so you actually understand what’s going on. But you don’t, instead you make decisions based around identity politics. You’re a useful idiot tricked into believing you have power, but all you can do is regurgitate the ideas that tasted good when they were spoon-fed to you. It’s fucking pathetic.
Or maybe it’s something else; maybe you’re a scam artist just like Anita. Do you support her because you’re sisters in fraud, leveraging your gender and faking interest in a hobby in order to get those dollas? If you’re such a strong, empowered woman, why are you painting yourself as a victim here? Wouldn’t the tough chick thing be to just fucking ignore them? Or you’re just angling to pull an Anita Sarkeesian/Zoe Quinn con, where you initiate and feed a trolling frenzy, then play damsel in distress for money.
So which is it Kate, are you an ignorant weakling or a conniving fraud?
